650/1200 Low Fire Syringe w/o tip (5g)
Art Clay Silver 650/1200 Low Fire Syringe w/o tip (5g)
More info...
Art Clay Silver 650/1200 Syringe consists of pure silver particles, a
binding agent, and water. The binding agent is produced from harmless
pulp fiber. During firing, the pure silver particles solidify. The
binding agent consists of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen resulting in the
release of harmless carbon dioxide and steam during firing.
This
product is low-fire clay that can be fired at 650 ºC/1200 ºF and is pure
silver (99.9%) after firing. The special formula of this product allows
for combination with glass, porcelain and ceramic materials, and also
suitable for firing with sterling silver findings or wires (SV925 and
higher quality recommended with a firing temperature of 650 ºC/1200 ºF,
with a recommended holding time of 30 minutes). Do not fire a soldered
piece with 650/1200 Syringe as the soldering temperature is lower than
the firing temperature. [Instructions] This product is water-based and
can dry up. Always keep the syringe tightly capped. By using syringe
type clay, you can draw designs directly onto pieces (clay type or paste
type) and create subtle patterns which were formerly difficult to
produce with conventional materials. The piece should only be fired
after it is completely dry. Attach the nozzle firmly onto the tip of the
syringe; otherwise, the nozzle may come off when extruding clay. The
tip of the nozzle is delicate, do not bend, squeeze, or press it against
a hard surface. After use replace the protective cap. Wrap the nozzle
with a wet tissue or gauze to avoid drying. After use, remember to
completely clean out any remaining clay from the nozzle (Recommendation:
use an empty syringe filled with water). Some kilns display a different
temperature from the actual inside temperature. It is known that silver
will melt at 961 ºC/1763 ºF. It is recommended that your kiln firing
temperature does not exceed 900 ºC/1652 ºF.
You may combine
650/1200 Syringe with the original silver clay series (clay, paste and
syringe types), but the firing condition should be the same as the
original clay series. You may combine 650/1200 Syringe with other
650/1200 series products (i.e. clay, paste and syringe types). Do not
bend any fired piece with unreasonable pressure. Keep the clay indoors,
out of direct sunlight, and do not store in a refrigerator. For best
results use clay as soon as possible after opening the package.

More info...
Art Clay Silver 650/1200 Overlay Silver Paste (OSP) is "low-fire" silver clay in paste form, formulated specifically to use on glazed porcelain. Overlay Silver Paste is in a viscous, liquid form and water soluble, so that you can express 3 dimensional drawings on a surface of porcelain, ceramic or glass.
After firing at appropriate temperature ranging from 650 ºC/1200 ºF to 800 ºC/1472 ºF, it will turn into 99.9% silver. During firing, the pure silver powder solidifies. [Instructions] Some silver settling may occur at bottom of the jar. Stir the paste well with a brush or metal spatula before use.
This product is water-based and can dry. Always keep the container tightly capped. If it dries, add a small amount of water to re-hydrate. To dilute the paste, take out the necessary amount and place it in a separate container. Then, add water a drop at a time. Do not dilute it directly in the bottle. pulp fiber. During firing, the pure silver particles solidify. The
binding agent consists of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen resulting in the
release of harmless carbon dioxide and steam during firing. This product
is low-fire clay that can be fired at 650 ºC/1200 ºF, and is pure
silver (99.9%) after firing. The special formula of this product allows
for combination with glass, porcelain and ceramic materials, and is also
suitable for firing with sterling silver findings or wires (SV925 and
higher quality recommended). Do not fire a soldered piece with 650/1200
Paste as the soldering temperature is lower than the firing temperature.

[Instructions]
Some silver settling may occur at the bottom of the jar. Stir the paste well with a brush or a metal spatula before use. To dilute the paste take out the necessary amount and place it in a different container. (Do not dilute directly in bottle.)
This product is water-based and can dry up. Always keep the container tightly capped. (If it becomes too thick, add a little water and stir well) Wash the paste off your hands with water after use. The clay may crack during firing if it is not completely dry. Some kilns display a different temperature from the actual inside temperature. It is known that silver will melt at 961 ºC/1763 ºF. It is recommended that your kiln firing temperature does not exceed 900 ºC/1652 ºF. You may combine 650/1200 Paste with the original silver clay series (clay, paste and syringe types), but the firing conditions should be the same as the original clay series. You may combine 650/1200 Paste with any other 650/1200 series product (clay, paste and syringe types). Do not bend the fired piece with unreasonable pressure. Keep the clay indoors, out of direct sunlight, and do not store in a refrigerator. For best results use the clay as soon as possible after opening the package.

product is low-fire clay that can be fired at 650ºC/1200ºF and is pure
silver (99.9%) after firing. The special formula of this product allows
for combination with glass, porcelain and ceramic materials, and also
suitable for firing with sterling silver findings or wires (SV925 and
higher quality recommended). Do not fire a soldered piece with 650/1200
Low Fire Slow Dry Clay as the soldering temperature is lower than the
firing temperature. The 650/1200 Low Fire Slow Dry Clay contains a
moisturizing binder to keep the clay from drying while working. The
moister formula allows for braiding, weaving, and generally gives the
artist up to 4 times more working time. Working time may vary by the
users environment. It is a wonderful product for those who live in dry
climates. [Instructions] This product is water-based. If the clay
becomes stiff during shaping, add a few drops of water and knead it
well. You can prevent the clay from sticking to your hands by rubbing
them with a few drops of olive oil first. Do not use rubber bands to
wrap the clay in plastic wrap, they may discolor the clay. Some kilns
display a different temperature from the actual inside temperature. It
is known that silver will melt at 961ºC/1763ºF. It is recommended that
your kiln firing temperature does not exceed 900ºC/1652ºF. Take out only
the necessary amount of clay. Place any remaining clay back in the
original 650/1200 Low Fire Slow Dry Clay bag (or a zip-loc bag) and keep
it in a sealed container to prevent it from drying out. You may combine
650/1200 Low Fire Slow Dry clay with the original silver clay series,
but the firing condition should be the same as the original clay series.
You may also combine 650/1200 Low Fire Slow Dry Clay with any
650/1200 series products (the firing condition is the same for both). If
the clay is not completely dry, it can crack during firing. Do not bend
any fired piece with unreasonable pressure. Keep the clay indoors, out
of direct sunlight, and do not store in a refrigerator. For best results
use the clay as soon as possible after opening the package.
